




JOHN STYPA
Board President

John Stypa, a USAF veteran, has extensive experience in business planning and management, accounting and bookkeeping, and financial analysis. He obtained a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Idaho and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. He has served multiple roles in the community, including coaching Lego Robotics, Coaching Moscow Bears pole vaulting, book-keeping for Scouts Troop 323, and supervising multiple Boy Scout adventures. John also teaches undergraduate accounting courses at the University of Idaho.
SOPHIA RATH, Ph.D.
Board Vice-President

Dr. Rath obtained a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. Upon completing her degree, she moved to the Palouse to complete her post-doctoral residency with Washington State University. Although she has relocated to Seattle, WA, where she owns and operates a social justice oriented private practice, she is committed to collaborating with local partners to meet the testing needs of the Palouse. Dr. Rath collaborates with local provides to facilitate access to psychological resources on the Palouse and looks forward to continuing this initiative with The Testing Collaborative.
Joe Getchius
Board Secretary

Joe Getchius is currently the Director of Operations for the St. Maries Youth Roots, Inc. and the Co-Operations Manager of the St. Maries Milling Center. These programs work to support child development, health promotion, and youth programming in the rural setting of St. Maries, ID. Joe has a background in information technology within healthcare settings. In addition to his philanthropic activities, Joe coaches high school pole vaulting.
Nikki Stypa, Psy.D.
Founder/Operations Director

Dr. Stypa completed a doctorate in clinical psychology with specialize course work and supervised training in neuropsychological assessment and child and family therapy. Prior to obtaining her doctorate, Dr. Stypa served as a school psychologist in multiple Title I schools. Dr. Stypa owns and operates a private practice in Pullman, WA where she provides counseling and testing services. Dr. Stypa also volunteers with the Palouse Continuing Education Consortium and serves on the Latah Alliance on Mental Illness board.
